Hi Everyone, I’m excited to share the final alternative card project featuring the March 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I love love how this one turned out!  Its a busy time of year for me so this card sat on my desk for a few weeks.  I did try to get to it but once I got home, I was dog tired and needed to veg in front of the TV! LOL. I took on a project outside of card making so my time is going to be super tight.  I will try to find the time to continue to share cards and videos with you tho.

I originally was going to watercolour all the flowers but I think by using the wrong paper, it turned out even better and much easier to make.  This card requires some masking and stamping the flower image in a cluster on opposite corners.  I love the look of the stamped images uncoloured!  But to bring a bit of colour to it and to cover up the one flower I coloured in. I added one flower on each cluster and two leaves and were all gold embossed. I think it was just enough colour and bling!

Although the kit had some nice sentiments, this card needed a bolder sentiment so I used the ‘thank you’ and the ‘for your kindness’ sentiment from the Daisy Delight stamp set. I fussy cut out just the ‘thank’ word and white embossed the other sentiment onto black card stock. The ‘YOU’ word was from the Celebrate You Thinlits SAB set which is now over.   I also added foam tape on each of the sentiments to pop them up and used my ‘T’ roller to line up the ‘YOU’ word first to ensure its straight and somewhat centred on the card panel.  Then I adhered the other sentiments.  The final step, I adhered it onto to a top folding card base.

– Berry Burst Panel 4-1/8 x 5-3/8″
– Stamped panel 4 x 5-1/4″
