Simple Valentine

Here’s a card I made using a freebie called ‘Simple Valentine‘. Designed 2 Delight reached several milestones this month and to celebrate, Faith has a few freebie’s up for grabs. I used Inkscape to put the birdie’s in the cage and added the heart from the ‘Balancing Hearts Doodle” set. I was testing out the Perfect Pearls on the bird’s but didn’t come out as nice as I’d like. I think I need to practice some more with this medium. I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder called Floral Fantasy. I love this folder, its so pretty. I stamped the folder with blue ink before I embossed the cardstock.
