Paper Pumpkin Mar 2020 Alternative Cards 3
Hello Everyone, two more card shares featuring the March 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit. The first card is my take of the card base that came in the kit. Just a quick change up by creating a full view of an umbrella. I think I achieve it. To create the puddle, I used the stamp that has lines on it and stamped it with Balmy Blue and then outlined it with the fine tip stamp-in write marker in the same color.
To create the circle I used a SU ribbon spool which is 3-1/4″ in diameter. I didn’t want to pull out my dies, plus once I sectioned off each area, you need to create a straight edge in each section so I wouldn’t fuss too much if your sections aren’t perfect
The colors I used on the umbrella are the same on the card base and also is listed in the instructions except I substituted Pear Pizzazz with Granny Apple Green to add additional brightness to the piece. The sentiment is stamped with Night of Navy and the panel is cut down by a quarter inch on the right side and mounted onto a Pacific Point panel.
I love how this one turned out but I think I over fussed as usual! LOL. I used the stamp with the dots or specks on it and stamped the leftover panel to create a border using Pear Pizzazz. Such a super easy border to create and card design as long as you don’t over fuss like I did. Hehe!
I definitely had fun creating these cards and they didn’t take very long to make. I also made a video if you wish to follow along. You can check it out here.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get to the other alternative cards. I decided to go back to work last week but I hope you enjoyed the 6 that I did share with you. This virus thing is so worrisome and I hope you are staying healthy and safe. I haven’t heard from some of the usual crafters, I hope you are well. Please comment so I know you are okay. Be well everyone!
Thanks for stopping by!
We are safe and well here in Florida, although Winter Haven seems to be the hotspot in Polk County, and I am in the over 65 age group! So far so good. Hope you are not in harms way back at work.
We are safe and well, so far, here in Florida. Although our town, Winter Haven, is apparently the hotspot of Polk County. We are in the at risk age group, but, have no underlying issues, so, staying positive. Hope you have not put yourself in harms way by going back to work.
