Hello, today I’m sharing 2 alternative card projects using the January 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit.
Its all in the design and a really simple butterfly on the first card and on the 2nd card a bit of line drawing which I’m sure you’ll be able to manage and lastly some fun stamping!  I really like how they both turned out and hope you do too!

The back panel is super easy to create on the Butterfly card…you’ll need a score board to create the score lines which are an inch apart and also some tiny pearls to add that simple elegance!

As for the Butterly, I used the little heart stamp from the kit and stamped it on the back side. I use Rich Razzelberry for the Butterly.  It is a strong color so I stamped 2nd generation. To create the lower end of the wings, line up half the heart stamp to the first impression and repeat the other size. Then add the body and antennas and shade around the square piece with Pacific Point…….TaDa!   Easy right?  Now onto the 2nd card…..

For the second card. Use a fine tip black marker to create the centre of the flower and add lines all around to form a circle and finally a slightly curved stem.  Now the fun part! Stamping around it with the envelope stamp that has the scattered tiny hearts and x and o’s. The stamping is similar to the Valentine alternate card I made. Double stamping with Rich Razzleberry and Flirty Flamingo.

– Whisper White Card Base 4-1/4 x 11″ Score at 5-1/2″
– Scored Panel 4 x 5-1/4″
– White Large Square 1-3/4″
– White Small Square 1-1/2″
– Striped Panel 1/2 x 2-5/8″

Flower Card
– Whisper White Card Base 4-1/4 x 11″ Score at 5-1/2″
– Real Red Panel 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″
– Black Striped panel 3-7/8 x 4-1/2″
– Small White Panel 3 x 3-7/8″
