Cupcake & Roses
I created this last card a few days ago. I hadn’t crafted for weeks and you could say was itching to make a card. I also ordered 8 more Spellbinders Die Cuts….some pendants, borders and the Lacey square nestie. Um yeah, another christmas present to myself. LOL Can’t wait to receive them.
The image is called Cupcake and Roses and is this weeks progressive challenge at Delightful Inspiration. Faith has been busy coming up with some wonderful valentines images too. More below.
I made the border using the Cupcake Trio image and duplicated the image in a square pattern using Inkscape. I have a pair of curved tipped scissors which made the tedious job of cutting it out a bit easier. They are handy if you have to make intricate cuts. All in all, the end results was worth it!
