Hi Everyone , I’m sharing another card featuring the Waterfront Stamp Set. I created a mountain scene with mist and I hope I captured it on this card.

I used the mountain stamp in the set to create the mountains. You’d have to check out the video on how I angled the stamp to achieve the shape of these mountains.  To create the mountains, I used smokey slate as the base color. Then black ink to add the contrasting colour. For the mist, I used Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment ink.  I find this ink really juicy and works very well. However, I’m sure the Stampin Up white pigment ink will do just as well.  At the moment I cannot find the re-inker…Grrrr.

I used a small sponge dauber to create a concentrated amount of mist on the mountains and a light touch around the trees.  If you added too much, you have time to dab some off with your finger or a tissue.  Once I was happy with it, I used my heat gun to set it. I used Marina Mist, then Dapper Denim on the sky and finally Night of Navy to get the tone I wanted.

For fun, I wanted a few twinkling stars.  I added 3 dots with a white gel pen and with a q-tip, loaded it with white pigment.  Dab off on a paper towel and dab each of the dots. You want soft edges and if you added too much, sponge some Night of Navy and it will tone it down.  Next, using the dotted stamp from the Waterfront Stamp Set, ink it up with white pigment ink and stamp a whole bunch on the left side and taper off to the right of the panel.
