CMS Steampunk Blog Hop

Welcome to the first CMS Blog Hop!

Thanks for joining us today!
If you arrived from Jodi’s blog Kaboo Designs then you are in the right place but if you need to start at the beginning, start at Copic Marker Scrapbooking (aka Making Our Mark).
CMS is hosting their first Blog Hop and its all about Steampunk!  I hope you will play along.  All you have to do is leave some comment love at each blog and collect the secret letter to spell out a word.

 Then email Colleen at hurricaneheron@gmail.com the secret word and she’ll send you the entire Steampunk set.  Also your name will be entered in a draw to win the latest Copic Sketch Set-6!

Colleen at CMS illustrated the wonderful Steampunk images!  She is so talented!  Here are a few cards I designed.   I used the lovely image Lola on my card above and used Copic marker colours:

My next card is the Hot Air Balloon. Isn’t it fantastic!  These are my first Steampunk cards and needless to say, I don’t own any steampunk goodies.  I even popped into Michael’s this morning to grab some gears but they didn’t have any :(.  So I had to make do and use what I had in my stash that came close!  LOL.

  10. I LOVE your choice of colors! I have not yet tried to color with copic markers, but seeing your creations makes me want to more and more! Love it!

  55. My favorite image is the lady and you colored her in the red is exactly what I would have done and I just love how it looks with the gray!!! Both your cards are just beautiful… Thanks for sharing!!!

  60. Loved your hot air balloon card with its neat vivid reds and blues.
    Those colors inspire me to dream.

  62. I also don’t have cogs or gears in my stash ;( But your cards weren’t short of the steampunk style on them. You’re very resourceful and you gave me ideas on how I can create the genre with the materials you used. 🙂
