I’ve been on a quest trying out different papers for copics. There’s a store close by in my neck of the woods that sell cardstock wholesale and also to the public. I popped in there last week and they gave me a sheet of Neenah Solar Crest 80 lb & 110 lb and a sheet of Domtar 80 lb to try. To my surprise, they each are pretty good. So far the difference is price but I think I’ll colour a few more images using different colours to come to a final conclusion. I used red and each sheet does tend to bleed if you over blend, so need to be careful there.
This image was coloured using the Canson Manga paper. The bell on the hat and the fluffy white areas were finished off with Copic Atyou Spica’s. You can’t see it too well but they do leave a nice sparkle. I also added shiny gold foil cut outs made with the Cuttlebug and a pretty red and gold sparkly ribbon. This image is also by Elizabeth O. Dulemba I’m entering this card over at Sweet Stampin, the challenge they are hosting this week is Winter Wonderland challenge #42.
Sundays at Crissy – Ch #9 – Sparkle & Shine. To my surprise my card from last weeks challenge #8 received an Artist Choice award. So cool and proudly displayed on my blog if I may add !!
